Unsure of your Carter number? They are stamped directly into the metal bowl. Check on the middle body for a vertical tag next to the metal accelerator linkage.

Hey there, We have an old military style 1952 Jeep with a one-barrel carb (4 cyl). The markings on the carb are YS 0-818 CARTER. What rebuild kit should we use as I cannot find any solid information on this.

If you have a M38 with a side draft YS then this should be the correct kit for you.

I have a 1951 M38 (I think) and the only marking I can find on the carb is Carter YS. Will this kit fit? I know similar to other question on here but I couldn't find any other numbers.

my carb has a metal triangular tag stamped "636SA" and under says "CO" will this kit work? will part number 923806 work as a direct replacement including linkages on an Lhead 134 m38? they look different

It should say WO on top of the bowl on it. Check again. Yes on 923806 for a replacement for the Carter WO.

I bought a complete repair kit for carburetor ys637, but no have the idle mixture screw. I need the IDLE MIXTURE SCREW WITH SPRING. Please, is possible only to get this screw w/spring?

I have a Carter YS carb, there is no tag. On the opposite side of the carb is stamped 0-818, will item #648065 work?

As long as it is a M38 with the YS it should be the correct kit.
