Hi, I have a question regarding this kit, what is the flex fuel hose used for? The steel line runs form the fuel tank to the fuel pump and then from the fuel pump to the carb.

That between your fuel pump and the line from your tank. It goes to the pump and the line from your tank screws to it.

WIll this Fuel Line Kit work with the Plastic Fuel Tank (MTS-005), where the fuel line hook up is on the top of the tank? Will it be long enough?

This fuel line kit is for the original tanks. If you have the poly tank, you would just have to modify to fit upto the aftermarket tank.

I ordered and received the fuel line. In order to fit in the box, the fuel line was bent almost 180 degrees. Is this how the fuel line is normally shipped? Am I supposed to unbend the tubing? It certainly doesn't look like the picture depicting an almost straight line. If this is not how I was to receive it, may I please return it and get an unbent fuel line? Thank you in advance

Yes, the supplier puts a swooping bend in them for shipping purposes. It just needs to be hand bend back out. If you have any trouble let us know but you shouldnt have any issues.

No, I'm sorry this is just for the CJ-2A. No one makes a fuel line kit for the Jeepster. You'll have to go locally, buy the preformed lines and bend them to fit. Thanks

I have a 47 willy's CJ2A that I replaced the hard lines from the fuel tank to the pump and carburetor with 1/4 fuel hose. I did this after removing the gas tank and having it cleaned due to being rusted and causing clogged up line problems. Is the fuel hose O.K. to use or will it suck together when gas is being pumped to the carb? I'm still having problems with it not getting enough gas to the pump and don't know if it's still a clogged up issue or if the fuel hose is sucking together.
