Questions: I have a early 1949 CJ3A that i have put on a 1950 M38 body. The original speedometer cable will not fit on my new speedometer for the M38. The cable won't go into the new gauge enough to allow the screwcap to engage the threads to screw it tight. what cable do I need?

They originaly used a dash light above the speedometer that was a clear bulb.
