Hi Mike, I am restoring a 52 M38 24 volt. I ordered and received my wiring harness but do not see the instructions in the box. Can you email me the wiring harness diagram. I see numbered clips on the wires but don't see all the original ones I need to replace. Thanks

Is there a difference in the 24 volt fording harness vs non fording. I'd imagine the fording harness is more expensive die to water proof connections? If so...are the interchangeable as I dont plan on submerging mine.

The deep fording option really didnt have any effect on the way the harnesses were made. All 24 volt harnesses were water resistant connections.

Does this kit come with a horn button kit? Or the dash spider wiring harness?

Yes, it will have the spider harness. If you require turn signals then we can do it that way too. We do offer a turn signal kit which included flasher and lever assembly with wiring.

I just got a 51 m38 - 24 volt -has not be started in 20 years,but stayed under cover, motor looks good, it turns, oil and antifreeze looked fine I am just cleaning things up and wanting to first see if I can get it stared and go from there all the wiring looks worn - hard to even see the how and if the ignition switch was even in tact visually the starer and generator look OK so if I can get this started - and the generator and starter work - I think i should stay with the 24 system but will need a complete new wiring harness and then all the gauges that go with it Can I get the instructions for that wiring harness? for now and until I see how well the engineer works - any suggestions on how to get things going for now without the new harness thanks for any information - best will

Is there a fuse panel on the M38? Or any protection on the wiring system? Breakers?
