1959 L-226. Do you offer a Skid Plate for this Poly Gas tank? Is there even supposed to be a skid plate for the gas tank on this PU Truck?

My original tank has a drain bolt in the bottom center. Does this tank had that too?

I have a '53 Wagon. The tank is fine except for some rust I need to take care of, just need sending unit. Mine looks different, the sending unit centered on the rear of the tank and is held on by a bracket that twist on. The fuel pick up tube and sending unit is one. Do you think the wrong tank is on the Wagon?

That is an original tank most likely in your station wagon. They all were 6 hole sending units.

I have a '55 Willys Pickup and would like to have more fuel capacity. Would it be possible to use this wagon fuel tank mounted next to the original smaller pickup tank? It is a 17 gallon tank like original but has a 13 gallon liquid capacity due to side filler neck like original.

I assume that the plastic replacement fuel tank (which fits a 1946 - 1964 Station Wagon), comes with the fuel line in the tank (which connects to the fuel line going to the engine fuel pump), already installed in the tank. Is this correct?

These are the factory capacity. It is a very high quality poly tank and US made. This is for the tank only. We also have the sending unit grommet ect ect...

They are roughly 10x20x30 just like original.
