How long does it take to rebuild a carburetor?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
5-7 weeks right now.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com your vehicle information and we can help out.

Does this require adjustment or is it bolt on and go? I had my original Carter carburetor rebuilt professionally but once I got it back and bolted it on the engine does not seem to run right at all. It seems to start and idle fine but when you push on the accelerator it starts to mis-fire/stumble/cut out. It had brand new spark plugs, wires, electronic solid state distributor, mechanical fuel pump, complete wiring harness, battery...etc and it still runs kinda crappy when you rev it up a little. I've tried playing with the distributor and adjusting it...seems to help but it still starts to break up/cut out once you rev it up any. Does this seem like a carb issue...maybe its running too lean? Do you think the universal carburetor is better or easier to adjust then then original carter carb?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We rebuild your core send send them back set to factory spec and engine tested.

I have 1950 chevy deluxe need carburetors have the # 7889A can you help

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
