They didnt use a horn ring on this steering wheel. The nut went on the outside of the steering wheel.

Questions: I just put my new steering wheel on my 46 CJ-2a. It's very stiff to turn the wheel. Any idea why? And how far is the threaded portion of the steering shaft supposed to extend through the wheel when it's properly seated? There's about 1/4 extending through mine, so I stopped trying to make it go any further....thanks...Curt....

It is hard to turn the steering wheel unless you are moving. I would check your set screw on your steering gear box too.

That would be something you have to pick up locally. Really you need this 17 steering wheel to keep your leverage when steering.
