Questions & Answers
Questions: I recently ordered all of the brake adjusting hardware, lines, etc. for an entirely new brake system from Kaiser for my M38. Today as I was installing the hardware I noticed the lower anchor pin doesn't quite fit in the cam, nor does the cam quite fit in the round holes in the bottom of the brake shoes. It's close, but the milling isn't quite right to allow the cam to slide fully on the pin, and the same for cam to slide into the brake shoe hole. Suggestions?

Questions: Are these suppose to spin freely in the big hole in the shoe?

I wouldnt say they spin freely so much as fit into the hole. They get locked into place by the anchor bolt and nut.
