Is this a 2 1/8" or the 2 1/16" for the spindle nut, thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
2-1/8" like original for all Willys with the A867K nuts.

Will this work on a 1957 FC170?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this would be the same.

I have a stock 1964 CJ5A Tuxedo Park which I believe has 10" brakes, will this socket work for my application ? Thanks in advance

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, the same spindle nuts were used.

I have a 59 pickup L6-226 4WD mostly stock. It has Warn locking hubs is this the correct socket to remove the bearing nut? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, as long as you are still using the spindle nuts: A867K

What drive size is this socket?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This is a 1/2" drive.

Stupid question, I want to pull my front brake drums. I need to remove the bearing nut, how do I lock the spindle nut. so it doesn't turn? I have it in 1st gear and transfer case engaged, but the spindle just spins. Do I need to lock the brakes? The service manual just says remove the nut, but I need to find out how to keep the nut and spindle from turning by hand.

JBrown:
The wheel on the other side must be on the ground to keep from turning. Or, have someone apply the brakes.
Willys Tech:
There are two sets of nuts and they have a lock ring with them that should hold it from spinning. Once you remove the outside nut just pull the ring off and you should be able to unscrew the inside nut.

When I tighten the spindle nut, what do I set my torque wrench too?

Willys Tech:
You have to tighten untill the wheel binds then back off approx 1/8 or 1/6 of a turn.
