The steering knuckle has a threaded port for adding fluid for lubrication, it is not mentioned on your site. What is used for this, and what prevents it from leaking/ seeping out of the lower king pin? The king pin does not have a seal to prevent leaks.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The housing of your knuckle as a fill plug. You just fill till it pours out. Alittle sealant on your bottom king pin caps will do the trick.

Does the king pin bearing cap come with the four bolts? Do you sell the four bolts for the king pin bearing by themselves? Are the upper king pin bearing cap bolts supposed to be longer than the lower king pin bearing cap bolts?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
643754 is the stud for the king pin bearing cap they orignally used. They are all same length.

Do you sell the protector. Mine is so bend that i cannot connect the flexible hose or the brake line to the cylinder.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That is used only. Please call us toll free. We can source.

Is the upper and lower king pin caps the same? I see no shims on the lower and is there a specific direction or orientation for them? They are different part #s

Willys Tech:
Yes, they are the same. They just set up the bearing preload. Its usually done on the bottoms.

How can you tell when the king pins are bad...will they be rounded eggshaped or something? thanks

Willys Tech:
Yes and also look for any discoloring of the metal.

Does this cap come with the washer or spacer that is in between the cap and the bearing

Willys Tech:
They used shims originally. Part number: A6882

Is the protector that attaches to the top of this available? The flexible brake line and very short twisted rigid line connect here

Willys Tech:
They are available good used.

There is a odd shaped piece of steel (rain gutter?) that bolts to the top of this. The front wheel brake line also attaches to this. Any thoughts?

Willys Tech:
On alot of the Willys they had a protector that was indended to protect your flexible brake hose from getting snagged or cut offroad.
