Have a 1941 Americar Coupe all stock 4 cly on your replacement water pump does the front pulley have the raise cross like the main photo or is it smooth. The stock fan blade will not seat flush if it's smooth. Need the one that has the raise cross. Can you help ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are smooth faced. Give us a call and we can try to help.

Is this made in the USA?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are import models.

Does the 4--134 engine need a bypass on the water pump or can both holes in the pump be plugged? Originally there was a heater installed on my 1946 CJ2A, but I want to remove the heater.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They can be plugged. It is for a bypass only.

What are the part numbers for the gasket and the hardware kit? I think my water pump is Ok. Am I being penny wise and dollar foolish? Thanks. ~P.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This pump comes with a gasket but if you're looking for an extra one, the number is 637053 and the hardware number is 649844K. Thanks

My pump has 800886 stamped in it; will your pump 649844 work.

Willys Tech:
As long as you have the 4-134 engine it will work perfect.

Is this water pump new, or rebuilt?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are new.

Looking for water pump for 56 CJ5 with double pulley? Do you have?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The water pump with the double grove pulley is #800002. Thanks

My mech. Just told me that he thinks I lost the spacer between the fan and the water pump. Because the fan hits everything. 1946 cj2a. Just needs to turn fan over? Or is there a spacer? Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They didnt use a spacer originally. It bolted directly to the water pump.

does this pump come with a new gasket?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, it does.

Is this pump cast iron like the original?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We can rebuild your pump for you if you want cast iron.

My old pump does not have the raised "X" shaped pulley face. Just the small raised circular boss and flat pulley face. Shouldn't matter? Thanks.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
It shouldn't matter. This is correct for your 4-134 Motor.

This doesn't come with a plug for the second hole in the top. (My original does not have a second hole in the top just the one bypass hole) What size of plug is needed and where can i get one?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
7372808 is typically used for a bypass hose. But you could also plug. I believe its 1/2" but will need to check.

I have a 1956 CJ5. Besides the lower radiator hose, it has an outlet for a bypass hose and another outlet for the heater. Does this have both?

Willys Tech:
This will have a plug in it for you to run a separate heater or bypass hose.

But all new cooling system in my 49 cj3a. Is running really hot and not cooling. And suggestions? Did notice after shut it down awhile top hose real hot. Bottom cooler if that means anything???

Willys Tech:
I would check your thermostat and retainer. Then go to water pump, then check radiator.

I have a industrial jeep motor but myww2 water pump seems a bit long as the impeller touches the barrel of number 1 misses out by one eighth of an inch, is the cj2 water pump that much shorter regards terry .

Willys Tech:
They used the same water pump on all 41-71 Willys 4-134 engines in Jeeps. It may be something special because it is an industrial engine.
