Will this fit 1984Jeep CJ7?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I think these are the same but will need to confirm.

My temperature gauge is 6 volts. Will I have to replace the sending unit or just supply 12 volts to the new gauges?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The sending unit works off resistance so you will only need to replace the gauge. Thanks

it looks like it will fit a 1974 CJ5, will it?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this goes in side the 914845 gauge used thru 1975.

What range are the fuel gauge 240 ohms empty- 33 full or 73 empty- 10 full?

Willys Tech:
8-10 Full and 70-80 Empty

I have a 1950 Willys Jeepster which I have converted to a 12 volt. Do I have to convert back to 6 volt for the instruments on the dashboard?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you have your original gauges then you will need to make sure they are only supplied with 6 volt.

Looking for little advise, going to be third set of gauges in this 58 jeep truck, last set hooked them all up and it smoked wire from ing. switch to fuel meter, both gauges got it, little over twelve volts going thru the whole system, checked all wireing from fuel gauge to sending unit no bare wires. all others replaced new temp sending unit and wires all replaced, new wire from switch to fuel gauge, just at a loss thanks in advance. one thing the ing coil hooked to hot wire of fuel gauge.

Willys Tech:
Sounds like it arched. You had metal on metal. Make sure the connection is not hitting the housing. It will smoke the wire everytime.

Will they fit 54/55 station wagon with round inst cluster running on 12 volts ?

Willys Tech:
These are for the style speedometer with the fuel and temp built in.

I have a 1958 FC-170 With the round speedometer. Will these gauges replace and fit into my speedometer?

Willys Tech:
Yes this should work for just fine.

Do you carry 12v replacement gauges that fit in the squarefactory openings?

Willys Tech:
Those have to be rebuilt. Please call us toll free. I can give you a few options for rebuilders.

I have a 1948 willys truck with rectangle holes in the cover plate and a square speedometer. Do these gauges work for this application? both the temp and oil are electrical

Willys Tech:
Yes these sit back behind it. They are period correct.
