Will this work on other gauges? Have a 1963 Willy's Wagon with the speedometer red pointer missing. Looks similar to this set up

I bought a 1957 cj6 and I need to replace all the gauges. However, I've got the amp gauge (not this one) currently installed. I've also got a seperate oil gauge installed. From reading stuff on here, am I supposed to have this gauge instead AND not have the oil gauge? If so, is there a diagram that comes will all of these to show exactly how to wire them?

I would get part number: 914845 it is the complete speedometer with gauges. That is all they ever used originally on a CJ-6 or CJ-5.

Why won't this work on a 57 6 volt cj5? Speedo is mechanical so why can't i put 6 volt bulbs and guages in it?
