Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@Kaiserwillys.com your starter motor numbers. On a CJ-2A you should have a MZ-4113 starter. The 3A used a MZ-4137 starter. We can help.

I have a 1952 CJ3A. it has a 124 tooth flywheel and a 8.5" clutch. The jeep has an F-head from an unknown CJ5. My flywheel and starter stripped. I don't know if it was from use/age or improper starter-flywheel combo. The starter I have is a 9 tooth bendix with PS256 stamped into starter housing. I do not have any starter id tags. I want a gear reduction 12v starter for this project. What do I need? Was this starter originally for a CJ3A or CJ5?

Willys Tech:
Please call us toll free. We will ask some questions and get some measurements from you and we can get you set up.

Willys Tech:
Because you have a mix 'n match vehicle we will need to get your old starter motor number and match them for you. Please call us toll free. We are happy to help.

Will this starter work with a 129 tooth flywheel ?
