Hi, Would this back seat fit in a 1950 Willys.....I have a 36 inch width between the wheel wells. And, does it need to have different holes drilled in the back to make it compatible?

Looking to purchased required hardware to mount rear seat. I found the pivot bracket for the rear, but unable to find where you may have the front strap brackets. Thanks.

Those are part of your rear floor board and welded. Someone must have cut your old ones off.

This would be a new install for my '48 CJ2A. Does mounting hardware come with this frame? Instructions?

I would also order part number: REARBRKT for the seat frame. That will fix you up. It just pops in place. Your rear tail lights if they have a double filament bulb will work for turn signals too.

If you replaced your tub would you have to drill holes for the rear brackets to be installed into the tub? Is there a video available to show how the rear brackets should be installed?

The cut outs are there for the REARBRKT part number. You would just need to drill the 2 mounting holes then. The slots for the forward legs are already ready to go in the floor board.

Do holes need to be drilled to mount the A2782-2A? Why the studs on the back seat brackets on the bottom of the legs?

You really shouldn't ave to drill any holes to mount. You use your original part number: REARBRKT and then the front legs just slot into the recess on the floor board.

Are you asking for box size? or bottom pan? or what exactly? These are just like the original CJ-2A frames, They fit down between the wheel wells in your rear floor pan.

I have a '47 cj2a but the seat frame doesn't look like the one pictured here. It has a folding/removable seat back. The seat hangs off the rear fender wells. Could it be off another year jeep? Does it even matter when I decide to order new cushions?

No they are not the same. The 3A had a taller back rest panel than the 2A.
