Are you sure this steering wheel does not have the groove for the horn ring (2023). Other venders report that is does have the groove.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not sure what you are referring to. Give us a call.

After 3 hours I got the old steering wheel off!! the SPRING was damage, do you have replacement spring??. CJ 5 1966 v6 225.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
639191 is the part you would be looking for.

I am trying to marry this up to a GM steering column with an 11/16 - 32 spline and I need to find out if there is an adapter. What is the spline count on this steering wheel? Thanks.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I think its going to be small. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com to help.

What is the shaft size and the spline count? Do you have a similar/smaller 15" wheel that would fit. I have power steering on V6 and don't need a 17" wheel

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These take an oddball 13/16" nut - the problem is no other steering wheel is made that will fit right one with the spline count.

Mike, Thanks for your great service. Bought this replacement wheel from you but having a difficult time getting original wheel off, seems to be stuck on the splines. Using a hammer from the back side only breaks up the old steering wheel. Any suggestions? Dusty '64 CJ6

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I know it can be difficult but once you take the nut off there is really nothing else holding it on. The best thing to use is our wheel puller, HP700. Thanks

Would you know if this steering wheel would work on a 1968 M-715?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, i have not fitted one to a M715.

Will this Steering wheel # 927417 work on a 1962 CJ-6? The one currently installed (17") has no horn button and looks different around the center (flatter).

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, they used the same steering wheel. 914047 will work too.

Will this wheel also fit an m38a1?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this will also fit an M38A1 on the tube and worm. However the 24 volt horn button set up is a bit different.

I bought a steering wheel (for 2 3/8) horn button. what type master horn button repair kit do I need?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The correct horn button kit for this steering wheel is number 927416K. Thanks

Does this wheel have the groove around the center hub to accommodate the snap ring in the horn rubber? I can't see it in the photos.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Unfortunately nobody makes them like this.

My 1968 CJ5 has a 1/2" diameter shaft and fine (not coarse) splines. Will this steering wheel fit those 2 requirements? Thank you, Alan

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
As long as you have the original tube & worm gear in there you should be all set on the install.

Will this steering wheel work on a 68' jeepster commando?

Willys Tech:
Im sure it could be made to work for the application.

Hi, my 1967 CJ5 does not have a horn, does this come with some sort of cap ? also how hard is it to hook up a horn kit? thanks

Willys Tech:
927416K is the horn button repair kit for this steering wheel. We also have 12 volt horns part number: 12VHORN

Which horn kit do I need when I order this steering wheel it show none for 2@3/8 wheel

Willys Tech:
927416K is the proper part number for this steering wheel.

Will the steering will and horn kit fit a 1957 CJ five

Willys Tech:
Yes this is the correct one if you want to retro fit it. IT will go right on.

does this slide on w/keyway or threaded on

Willys Tech:
The tube and worm gear is spined and the sheering wheel slides down the splines (is is splined as well to mate)

your cataloged items go up to '71. Is this the same wheel that was used for a '73 CJ5? could you also help me in locating a good source for other original parts (replica) for my '73?

Willys Tech:

how about the horn button kit for this steering wheel.

Willys Tech:
Its part number: 927416K

Will this steering wheel fit a 67 M715 Kaiser Jeep?

Willys Tech:
