Are these springs new or re-arced???

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
These are new springs.

I have a CJ3A 1951 I bought your spring kit 8 in the front 9 in the back I forgot that I run a small block Chevy with aluminum heads should I have gotten the 10 spring front?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I am not sure how much different in weight it would be. You may be ok with stock but we know several people who do go with a stiffer set.

Is there a simple measurement that will indicate whether the current springs need to be replaced? My springs appear pretty flat, and I am considering replacing them, but how do you know? And would the ideal repair be springs, shocks, u-bolts and shackles?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If they are flat, I would replace. Its a good time to replace shackles and pivot eye's as well.

I want to do a 4in lift on my 47cja2. Do you have the parts

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Our suspension overhaul kits set you back up to stock height. Typically you get approx an inch lift from where you are currently sitting due to leaf spring sag.

Will these work on a 1947 Bantam T3C and are the bushings already installed?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com some of your measurements and we can help to confirm.

Will these leafs work on M416 Jeep Trailers ?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com to confirm your eye to eye and we can help out. Thanks!

The 10 leaf spring I received today comes with a bushing in the front eye that doesn't appear to come out. This bushing makes the eye way too small to accept the shackle. Is this bushing meant to be knocked out or did I receive the wrong part? If it's meant to be removed, please give me some guidance on how to do that.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They just press out in a vice. use a socket the size of the bushing and a larger socket for the other size for the bushing to drop down into when you use the vise.

Will lift shackles work with these springs?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Im sure they would if you can find a OEM style set.

I have the 8 leaf on my cj2a and they have no arch anymore, will these help lift it 2- 3 inches? mabe 4"? Thanks John.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Anytime you replace the original, worn out springs with new ones, they will give you about an 1" - 1-1/2" lift. Thanks!

I just bought front and rear springs and the pictures of the part showed the bushings are included with the springs. my parts did not include the bushings as shown. I also bought a new front bumper and hardware kit. I have the bolts to attach the bumper to the gussets, but the bolts do not come with the required spacer tubes. Where can I get the spacer tubes for the main bolts? below is my cell phone. I did note that the other web sites I looked at for the leaf springs specified in the part description they included the bushings, but I did not see that in your part description other then the picture clearly showed the bushings were included. Please advise. 602-478-6136

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The leaf springs do not come with bushings because different willys that used the same leaf spring takes different bushings. Please call us toll free and we can help on all of this. Thanks!

Are these 1&3/4 wide?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is correct 1-3/4" like original.

I have a 1948 CJ 2A, I need front Leaf Springs on both sides. They have 10 leafs. 363/4, by 1 3/4. Should I replaced the shocks at the same time?

Willys Tech:
These are the correct leaf springs. I typically would do the shocks if you can, as well as the U-bolts too.

I have a 1946 Bantam T3C, I am looking for replacement springs. will these fit? my springs are 10 leaf and 35 eye to eye. If these will not work, do you have any that will fit?

Willys Tech:
These are 36 eye to eye and I believe the should work for you.

My '53 cj3a has 10 leaf springs in the front.I am installing a 3.8 v6 . Can I replace with 8 leafs or stay with 10

Willys Tech:
Either will be just fine for you. If it is a V8 I would maybe use the 10 leaf.

Are they the same, or is there a left (marked with a L) and a right?

Willys Tech:
Front leaf springs are the same for both sides.

I am replacing the front leaf spring on a 1945 Willy MB jeep. I'm not sure if an 8 leaf would ride better than a 10 leaf. Which one would you suggest that I order?

Willys Tech:
We sell alot of both. I usually put part number: A612

I have a 1953 CJ3A with 10 leaf front springs that need replacing. Does the 8 leaf have a smoother ride than the 10 leaf? What is the advantage on one over the other?

Willys Tech:
Really either is pretty good. If you are towing go with 10 leaf. If not I usually stick with 8 leaf. They both sit at the same ride height.

What is the part number for leaf spring tie bolts? Are they the same for front and back?

Willys Tech:
I think you are referring to the bolt that goes thru the center of the packs to hold the assembly together. That is just a local hardware store item. Make sure to get hardened.

What is the difference in the of 8 or 10 leaf spring thanks

Willys Tech:
Just the leaf count. The arch is the same. They both fit.

Do you carry the rubber bushings that go inside the eyes of leaf springs for the MB?

Willys Tech:
They didnt use rubber bushings in the shackles on a MB, only rubber grease retainers. They come complete in our shackle kits part numbers: 802061 & 802062

I have a 42MB need new springs all the way around but would like to get two more inches of clearness for a little taller tire any suggestions?

Willys Tech:
You should get appox 1-2 inches of extra height from these from where you are sitting now. Your old leaf springs loose their arch so these set you back up to stock height.

ihave a 48 cj2a and how high will a 10spring lift it from stock? is there any size bigger to put on?

Willys Tech:
These set you back up at stock height.

will the brass bushing come with spring or do i need to order sep.

Willys Tech:
The bushings are separate.

Do the 10leaf springs come with the bushings?

Willys Tech:
This is for the leaf spring only. We sell the bushings, bolts, and shackles as well. Part numbers: 359039, 384228, 802061 & 802062.

just wondering if its 124.99 for one spring or for two springs? i only ask because i need all four.

Willys Tech:
These are each. You will need quantity 2 part number: 926709 for the front.

how wide is this 10 leaf leaf spring? is it 1 3/4?

Willys Tech:
Yes, they are 1-34 wide. Just like original.

I have a 1942 Ford Jeep,, I need a front spring, but should it be 8 leaf or 10 leaf, what models/years/etc defines which one it should be please?

Willys Tech:
You would want to go with the 8 leaf is what I prefer part number: A612 But these 10 leaf work fine as well.

Have a 1962 CJ3B....should I put 8 or 10 leaf on the front, and what should I put on the rear..???

Willys Tech:
Either will work fine. The rear takes a 9 leaf only. Its part number: A614
