Questions & Answers
Questions: How do I know what size bearings, etc. to order? (.020, .030, etc...)? I have an original 1945 L-Head that to my knowledge has never been rebuilt. Would the standard size kit work?

You may want to take it to a machine shop to have them tell you. If it has never been rebuilt then it is all STD but you may need to go over/under size on the pistons/bearings.

Questions: I'm not sure how to figure out my Jeep's model or the engine model it has. How can I make certain of the engine model before I order the Overhaul Kit? This much I can tell you the motor is a flat head serial No. 804380W12DP5CUCR The Actual car I believe is a 1946 CJ2, no plate tags on it. It has no glove compartment and has been slightly modified from original thus I am trying to restore it. Gas Tank under the drivers seat and tool box under the passenger's seat. It is a 4 wheel drive soft top
