Questions: What is the cost difference to upgrade to greaseable HD shackles and greaseable pivot bolts with the rest of this kit? Thanks
Question By: Ben on May 29 2017 8:28 PM
The CJ-5 didn't use greaseable style. I don't think it is really possible unless you are willing to drill out your hangers.

I just installed one of these kits on my 1956 Jeep Willy CJ5. The parts are of good quality, easy to install (about 5 hrs for me and I'm no mechanic). Jeep drives like new and added bonus of a little lift due to brand new leafsprings. One note...this kit did not come with the four cotter pins needed and original holes for bolts were 1/2" and new kit (looks like an upgrade) but requires a 5/8" hole so some minor drilling needed. Great kit.
