Questions: I have a Willys 1962 pick up 226 Hurricane. I tryed to get the distributor cap off today and it would not come loose. What do I need to do. I am willing to purchase a cap kit but what is the trick to get the old one off? The truck is not at my present location and I can only view it on weekends. Thanks

Just the two spring clips hold it in place.

Questions: How do you remove the rotor for this application? The cap comes off fine, but the rotor feels as if there is a locking mechanism that keeps it from being removed.

The rotor will just pull stright off.
