Questions & Answers
Questions: I have modern/not original seats installed in my 1960 CJ-5. I would like to get back to original. Is it as simple as taking these new front seat frames to an upholstery group and have made? is there anything else I need to purchase from you? thanks

Questions: I have a 1953 M38A1. The front leg, the one on the right in this picture, looks much to long for me. This leg on my driivers side seat is shorter and mounts on top on the gas tank. Do you have this type of seat?

Questions: Hi Mike, looks like this will fit a 55 Cj5. The 55 Cj5 followed down the M38A1's production line and I have a M38's passenger seat installed which fit perfectly. If I'm correct, what needs to be down to this seat frame or the Cj itself to fit this frame to it? If I've chosen the wrong seat, please let me know which one to order. Tnx, Richard

Yes, this seat frame will fit in the CJ-5 as well. On some you will have to drill to mount.

Questions: Have a 66 CJ5 and am looking for a used driver's side seat frame or seat. Alternatively, will the seat frame for the 52-66 M38A1 work for it instead?
Question By: Dave on Apr 7 2013 12:00 AM
It should work with some modification. I have had people put them in there CJ-5s.
