Questions: Do you sell the flap?
Question By: J on Sep 8 2017 9:24 PM
We have the 'stop' but the flapper inside is used only.

Questions: What is worse case scenario if the heat riser spring is not connected? Attempting to drill out the bolt (it was froze in the manifold) I broke an easy out in the drilled out bolt trying to remove it. Now I can't connect the bracket that holds the spring. I live in the south and don't plan to drive it in cold weather.
Question By: Mark Ruschak on Mar 24 2017 9:46 PM
I would leave it in the open position and it is ok in warm weather.

Questions: Will this fit the 6-226 engine any bright ideas for getting the old sized one out
Question By: Colin Bryce on Jun 13 2016 11:35 AM
That would be a used item only for the 6-226 engine. Please call us toll free.

Questions: How is the flapper attached to the rod? The one I removed appeared to be welded.
Question By: Anonymous on Jul 26 2014 12:00 AM
Some were welded some were held in with 2 small flat head screws.

Questions: I can hear the flapper very loudly in my 46' cj2a. when the motor is running. Does that mean it is broken, or damaged and need to be replaced?
Question By: Anonymous on Jul 7 2014 12:00 AM
It should be spring loaded. Make sure the spring is still there and under tension.

Question By: Bobby on Jun 19 2013 12:00 AM
Yes, it will open the flap up. You will see the counter weight move.
