Do the 8 leaf packs offer the best handling & ride quality? I have a 1978 CJ7 304/TH400/QT with front sway bar.

Does it matter to go from a 4 leaf spring on the front of my 1978 CJ5 to a 6 or 8 leaf, Also going from a 4 to a 6 on the back
