Some Willys had a flange and some did not. They also do get worn away as well.

I believe Bendix used a bushing with no flange. The shims set the axle play. This bushing is for the Spicer U joint held in place with a snap ring on the end of the shaft instead of a nut.

Your inner lip has most likely worn off. Make sure to full seat this bushing inside the spindle evenly.

This goes on the inside of the spindle itself.
