Questions: So it appears the holes for blackout drive and hood latch have to be drilled by purchaser? Is there a template for correct location?

Questions: what year did the fenders with the indentation start

The indentation didn't show up on the fenders until '69 and went thru '71. Thanks

Questions: I am trying to accurately restore a M38A1. Are these fenders accurate repros and of the same quality of the original military fenders.

These are CJ-5 fenders but will work and bolt up the same for the M38A1. Once painted and blackout lighting added like original you really cant tell the difference.

Questions: why are these fenders so much more expensive then the ones with marker light indents? will both styles fit a 68 cj 5

They are a limited production run item and are specific to early Jeeps. Yes both will fit.
