Questions: I will be changing the water temp gauge in my 49 CJ3A. I assume there is no need to be gentle removing the probe from the block. Would a pipe wrench be good for that?
Question By: Jim Collins on Sep 25 2018 3:29 AM
Just make sure the fitting doesnt break and use the proper size wrench.

Questions: Not sure how to remove pressure gage. It looks like there is an outer face ring that holds it in place? Or does the bracket on the back side only hold it in place?
Question By: hullbrucev@gmail.com on Sep 18 2017 1:16 AM
There is just a bracket from the backside. It slides out then from the front.

Questions: while installing new temp gauge on my 48 CJ2a, it appears that I somehow broke the sending unit on the head and it doesn't work now. The gauge is new and will probably work fine if I can install a new cable and sending unit. Do you sell these seperately? Maybe it would be cheaper just to buy the whole assembly and start over. What do you recommend.
Question By: Daniel Baldwin on Jan 14 2017 7:40 PM
If it broke the unit will need to be replaced. Please call us toll free and we can help.
