I purchased a 1949 CJ3A Jeep Willy which had a Rochester Carborator installed. I don't believe it's the stock corborator for this vehicle, I purchased a Solex carborator and the mounts are not lining up. The Solex is 2 3/8, the Rochester is 2 3/4. Is there an adaptor for this or do I need to look into a new intake manifold?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Give us a call and someone in our tech department can help you there.

Does this manifold fit the '49 Jeepster w/134L engine?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This manifold has different mounting stud distance and be oriented front to back instead of left and right like it was for the VJ.

What size plugs are needed to close off the vacuum ports?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I think they are 1/4 pipe

What are the dimensions for the bolts needed for the intake to exhaust manifold connection point to each other(4 required)? Doesn't seem you sell a kit for this, and need to pick up some local.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
G64520 is kit you need.

Does this come with gaskets?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No, the gaskets are sold separately; https://www.kaiserwillys.com/new-manifold-gasket-set-3-piece-kit-fits-41-53-jeep-willys-with-4-134-l-engine Thanks

I ordered an intake manifold for a 49 CJ2A and the new one comes with two threaded holes. One the old manifold these are not drill or tapped. What is the part number for the plugs? I do not see it listed in the parts breakdown.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
That is for vacuum ports if you need it.

If I screw the four bolts loosely to connect the Intake to the Exhaust manual, the mating surface does not line up with the engine block. If I remove the bolts, it appears the holes do not line up with the threads. What are my options?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please give us a call toll free. We can help out. You can ask for Mike M.

I am replacing intake and exhaust manifolds on a1946 CJ-2A. What bolts-studs are included with the intake. Will I need to buy the four bolts for the intake-exhaust connection and 2 studs for carburetor-intake connection?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The proper studs for the intake are 632159 and you will need to but two of them. For the exhaust manifold, the correct part is A564K and you only need one because it is sold as a kit. Thanks

your photo does not show whether or not the intake manifold has all the original holes for vacuum hook ups, pvc hookup ect. Does it?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, it is made like original. Thanks

Is this the correct intake for the YS 637s carb? I am replacing my WO with A17854, am I good to go?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes would be correct for the M38 side draft with the YS yes, that is correct.

I am ordering a 923806 Carb for my 1950 m38 I want to replace the intake as well... is this my part? you're not showing it will fit the m38 in your fitment? but it does have the L motor

Willys Tech:
Yes this is the proper manifold for your M38 with the 923806.

Is there a gasket for the crankshaft ventilator that attaches to engine block. It's for 49 cj3A. If so do you sell one

Willys Tech:
The PCV valve just screws directly into the side of the manifold. The gasket for the larger bowl that fits onto the side cover gasket where the steel line screws in has to be made out of paper gasket material.

My willys cj3a has a vacuum wiper on drivers side the vacuum hose is partialy gone and want to reattach it--think I see where it connects to intake manifold but there is a pluged device where it attaches. What do I use to hook the vacuum line back up?

Willys Tech:
Yes you can hook it up off of there. Your local auto parts store will have the proper fitting to hook your vacuum line up to.

what part number are the studs

Willys Tech:
The part number is: A564K

Can I use a solex carburator with this manifold?

Willys Tech:
Yes, the part number you would want to use with the manifold is: 923806.
