Questions: I am replacing a duel action fuel pump and I am hooking it up the same way it was put on. I know this isn’t the best method, but I’m military and it’s how I’m wired to do things, lol. Well, upon reconnecting the lines I noticed “in” on the pump and that’s where the previous owner had a line going towards the carburetor. Questions: On this fuel pump do both vacuum line out ports provide vacuum and does it matter which side is used for either vacuum line? Thanks in advance - Rick Installation diagram available ?
Question By: Rick Hoffman on Jun 15 2017 1:16 PM
The vacuum is the larger side. Yes on the vacuum - it is a suck/blow. So don't plug them off or the pump wont work properly. You can either connect them properly to the vehicle, leave them open (not recommended due to dirt getting in there. Or run a hose between two.
