I thought I read somewhere on your site that activator is not needed with this paint. I'm doing my truck in flat OD Green so no clear coat. Will I need to purchase activator or no? Thanks!

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not required. But you do need to thinning method though 4 to 1.

Hello, I'm planning on using this to paint my car and I have a few questions, How durable is the paint without a protective clear coat? I like the flat look but I'm worried about the elements wearing the paint away, also does the flat paint stain easy? If I were to clear coat it do you have a recommended brand? I saw you recommended Rustolium brand for the primer right? same brand for the clear coat? Anyone have experience applying it with a roller? I was wondering if I can get a nice clean smooth look with just blocking it from 400-3000 grit or something, or will I need to cut/polish/buff it at all? Will this paint stick well to sanded paint or do I need to prime sanded paint as well?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
If you can call us toll free. Ask for Mike M. Im happy to go over the paint with you and answer your questions.

Do you need to put on a clear coat or any other post paint after using this paint?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They didnt originally.

is there a metal treatment needed to do be for painting

Willys Tech:
I would always use a good automotive primer and follow their prep recommendations.
