Will this part fit a 1951 M38 Jeep Willys?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
The bracket is more set up for the 4-134 F engine but could be modified for the 4-134 L engine

Are there directions for installation for 936407K

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
No not really since there isn't really a need for them. Give us a call and maybe we can talk you through installation.

Do you sell just the hoses for this set up or know the lengths for the hoses?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, we should be able to get just the hoses. Please email mike@Kaiserwillys.com to help out.

I assume this mounts where the stock filter sits on an M38A1. Does it mount with the opening of the filter facing down or up?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, that is right. The filter opening points down and the hoses screw up into it.

which Fram filter will work with this conversion?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
936585 is our part number for that.

Is this kit only for the F-134 or can be used on the L-134 also.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You could make it mechanically work with the L head. The physical mounting would be your hurdle. It would have to be remote mounted.
