I have a 1972 Jeep CJ5, that was built in November of 1971. Would this tailpipe work for my vehicle?

what is the inner diameter of this pipe? my muffler has a 1 3/4 outlet that i need to attach to.

The ID is approx. 1-7/16" like original.
