There are only 3 bolts through this box, 2 holes are slotted. BTW, 1946 CJ2. How can I tell if the steering tube and worm gear need replacement? The worm gear that I have looks ok. a little rusty. The tube had been painted olive drab...the box was OD also. It's not a Ross box it has a Ford style "F" on it.
