My CJ-3b has an F-head engine cobbled together in the 1970s. When I pulled the oil pan I discovered that it has two different sized bolts in the piston rods (no wonder it vibrates). Will this require changing out the oddball pistons/rods so that they match?

so my rod #4 is a little beaten from being forced out via hammer but all my rods are balanced will buying an not balanced rod affect anything

My willys repair manual describes the stock connecting rods as forged units. These are described as cast. Is there a difference?
