I bought this pitman arm and sector shaft. Neither item has any markings to align them together. How do I install the arm in the correct position?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Align your steering and make sure steering wheel is centered and that will tell you. Thanks!

My '57 CJ-5 has a lift. Do you sell a dropped Pitman arm? Also, I would love to have power steering, but it has the little 134 F type engine. Is that too small for power steering? I noticed your power steering parts start in the '70s with 6 or 8 cylinder engines.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, drop pitman arms and power steering kits are not available for that CJ-5.

will this pitman arm fit a 1937 willys car

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Sorry, We do not sell a pitman arm for the Willys Car.

does 7/8th and 15/16th measurements refer to the diameter of the solid shaft or the diameter of the spline-teeth on the end? I bought one of these pitman arms for my CJ2a, but the inside diameter (of the hole) on the arm measures 13/16th and won't fit

Willys Tech:
Please call us toll free. We can help you ID what gear box you have and we can go from there for you. Thanks!

Do you have a pitman arm for a 1971 CJ-5?

Willys Tech:
If you have a 7/8 sector shaft this is the correct one.

Do you need a press to remove the pitman arm from the sector shaft?

Willys Tech:
They can get really stuck on there. It should just slide off though.
