I have a 1968 Willys/Jeep 1 1/4 ton Cargo Truck. Currently it has a 9.00 X 16 tires on it. Will this tire mount on this truck correctly? The wheels are split ring. Thanks.

I have rims that are 16 by 4.5 and I'm interested in these tires. My jeep (truck) is a car show jeep that has a military theme. My jeep is not stock and prior to me the suspension was made to be over axle instead under axle, so there is plenty of clearance in the wheel well. will these tires fit on my rim since the tire seems to be twice the width of the rim? I'm looking for a tire that is narrow (military) but will fill in the wheel well since my 15's look so small.

I would go max 7.50 x 16 tires on there. These 9.00 x 16 tires are really for military trucks only.
