Does this gas tank come primed on the outside ? From the pictures it looks like it is already has primer. Would you recommend coating the inside since many fuels may come with ethanol ? Thanks

Yes, it comes primered on the outside. WE never coat the inside. As long as you use non-ethanol fuel you will not have a problem.

Is the interior of the tank bare steel, stainless, or coated with a rust proof material?

I believe they are uncoated. but if you keep nonethanol fuel in them they will not rust.

I've acquired a 42 MB with a major amount of custom work. And that includes the fuel tank well. What are the dimensions of the tank. Specifically the area that sits in the well?

What is the diameter of the small and large mouth filler hole? My MB doesn't have any thing to indicate its year of manufacture.

The small cap is really small like 2 in diameter while the small one is around 4 in diameter. It will be realy obvious when you go to take the cap off. Really big or really small for a gas cap.
