threaded ½-20 which is 5/16 inverted flare.

A1221 would be the early small mouth tank used in a GPW jeep.

If you are the large mouth gas cap that is correct.

This is for tank only. There is no filler tube used on these tanks.

The Willys MB and GPW never used a filler neck. They were made just like this is pictured.

I believe it is 12 just like original.
