Question By: Scott on Mar 6 2015 12:00 AM
They are made to OEM spec on the thickness.
Answer By: Willys Tech on Mar 9 2015 12:00 AM
The only difference between the OEM tank and the replacement is, no filler neck insert for the trash screen & gas cap chain. The top lip where the hold down strap goes will have to be bent down for the strap to fit and the screws holding the fuel pick up may have to be cut down, mine were about 3/32 too long and bottomed out. Not a big deal and I'm happy with the new tank.

These are painted and ready for install. There is no such thing as a stainless tank for this vehicle. They cannot rust as long as you keep clean gas in them.
