Questions: I see in the photos that the mounting bolts are cross ways, on my 1946 cj2a I have the original light, it's smashed, the mounting on mine is up and down. Do these lights come that way also.

You have a very early CJ-2A. Some were like that. You would just need to drill to mount.

You'll need a #1157 bulb if in 12 volt or a #1154 bulb if in 6 volt.

They will fit in the hole but we do sell the proper blackouts for the MB as well part number: A1064. Yes they are 6 volt. To make 12 you just need to swap the bulb out.

The housing is metal and the lens in glass. These are really high quality OEM replacements.
