Questions: Are there two pieces in the kit?one for the tailgate and one for the lift window? Or Is it one continuous piece that needs to be cut to do the tailgate and rear lift window?

We cut enough of the proper molded weatherseal to seal complete upper, lower, and side of lift style tailgates only.
