I have an F engine in my 1949 3A Willys 4J491801 (3B Engine) with a WO Carter carburettor for the hood to close. The vehicle idles incorrectly and dies when revolutions are below 100 RPM. Local guys told me I have the incorrect Jets. How will I know the correct jets, or do I need to buy the entire kit to be sure? Gerhard Genis

You said that the master kit has exterior linkage. What does this include? (Throttle, Choke, Idle screw, etc.)

I have an L-134 engine with a WO Carter Carburator, do your rebuilding kits address newer gas mixtures that contain 10% ethanol? Also, are the kits made in the USA and direct from Carter?

Yes, you can run modern fuel - but regardless you never want to use ethanol fuel. Only run Non-ethanol.

We are working on a 1946 Willys. We have a Carter carburetor on it. We purchased the Master Carburetor rebuild kit and have completed the rebuild. It is still running too lean, and when we hit gas the vehicle just goes blllaaah and wants to die. Is there something you do when you rebuild with the jetting or the accelerator pump as it is slow to respond. We originally were just going to send it off to you for rebuild, but my client cannot wait the time we were told it would take to turn it around. Myself and my shop foreman have 50+ years between us and are confident the rebuild has been done correctly, just looking for some tips on tweaking it. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. I would check your vacuum draw at idle once fully warm and no longer choked. Idle set to 475 rpm. You should have 20 inches of vacuum draw. I would also check your timing.

I’m new to this whole restoration thing. I have a 47 willys and need to replace some parts does this come with the float?

I have rebuilt my CJ2A carburator with your master kit. Now the motor, at idle, only runs with the choke, even hot. Do you have any ideas what I did wrong? Thanks.

I understand that the master kit for the Carter WO contains some additional linkage components. I don't know which components are involved. I can't see any difference in the pictures. Maybe it's my old eyes.
