What machining is required for proper fit? Do you sell the key that goes between the pulley and the crank? Are the sheaves for wide or narrow belts?
Willys Tech:
They are for the narrow belts. You have to lathe the inside diameter hole to fit.

Is this the correct crank pulley for an M38 or A1, with both belt sheaves the same width? My understanding is that there is also a CJ double pulley that has one wide and one narrow sheave for use with Jeeps equipped with governors. Please verify as I am looking for M38, with double gen and water pump pulleys.
Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes, this is for the M38 and M38A1. We also sell part number: 646699 too

Does your company sell a bolt on timing pointer for the L134 engines? Or is there a any suggestions on how to set TDC on the pulley? Thanks
Willys Tech:
They really dont make anything like that. You should be able to get that from your flywheel markings.

I have a 46 CJ2A that I have had for years... It runs great & lots of fun, until I heard a noise coming from the crank pully. I removed the fan belt and noticed that the pully was very loose and rotated back and forth on the crank shaft ?? I tried tighting the crank shaft bolt which was tight and did not fix the problem? Do you think the pully key failed or do you think the pully & key need to be replaced? How do you get the old pully off without damaging it? What kind of puller do I need?
Willys Tech:
There is a key that locks it into place. That is probably worn. I would take a look at that. You will probably have to go buy a puller to get it off.
