Does this as well as the passenger side steering knuckle come with the seals, bolts, and bearings needed for installation?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This is knuckle only as shown. We have anything else you might need though.

I recently bought several parts to repair my front axle, but I have doubts about the type of lubricant that I should use in the bearings and the steering knuckle support. if you could help me I would appreciate it

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Pack your bearings with heavy duty axle grease. in the differential use 80/90 weight NON-synthetic straight GL-4. In your knuckles we use John Deer corn head grease.

This steering knuckle support looks identical to the ones on the Dana 27 in my 1969 CJ5. Is there a difference between the ones used in the 1966 CJ5 and the one used in the 1969 CJ5? Thanks for the help.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
This should work for you on your vehicle.

Need bearing & race that fit in steering knuckle support for 54 cj-3b jeep.

Willys Tech:
I think you mean the spindle or wheel bearings. They are part number: 52942 & 52943

I think I need the two new steering knuckle for my CJ3A.The threads are usefull, in question is: is possible to change the six front bolts for STUDS ? because the use and abuse in hard terrain makes me disassembly several times to check, repair and grease. Yesterday I put the new Spicer axles and is impossible to arrive at torque. Thank you very much.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
I suppose you could swap for studs as long as they are hardened.

Do these knuckles have the extra .058 or so thickness on the bottom? I see someone ask but I couldn’t see your answer to that. My question would be for both sides.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not sure i understand the question exactly. You do need to use king pin bearing shims to set your preload. Email happy to help out. Thanks!

Purchased 805783,805784 for Dana 25 1955 m38a1. Both are 3/16 wider than stock on ca sting, measured inside knuckle king pin location to king pin location. Is this an issue?.

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Call and ask for me Mike M. I can help out. Thanks!

Hello, What is the correct lubricant to use inside the steering knuckle support housing?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
We typically use 90 weight non synthetic.

Hi, I need to get the seal gasket for the bottom of the steering knuckle (should be a rectangular piece to accommodate center opening and 4 bolts). Do you have it? Thanks, Tim

Willys Tech:
A6882 is the shim set. They never really originally used a paper gasket down there. I would just use some silicone.

Can these knuckles be used on 1950/51 Willys jeep truck.

Willys Tech:
Yes as long as you are 4WD.

I have 1948 cj2a and my camber is out of alignment. My king pins are good wheel bearings are good. I have tried everything. Would this help?

Willys Tech:
Your knuckle may be worn. It wouldnt hurt to replace. I would double check all your bearings and spindle nuts too.

I need a steering knuckle for the drivers side. I see the one pictured has the steering arm built on, but mine isn't like that. Is this how it comes, or is this a generic picture?

Willys Tech:
This is how they come. You may have an early style. Please call us toll free. We can help you.

I have a 49 CJ3A - will I need the shims on the bottom of the knuckle or will this be the updated knuckles with the .058 added to the bottom already?

Willys Tech:
You typically need to shim depending on the condition of your bearings and how much play you have.

Aren't there bearings and race that fit inside the knuckle? I am needing to replace them in my 1960 CJ5.

Willys Tech:
Yes you are gonna want part number: 52940K

Is a special lube required for the front steering knuckles? Thank you,

Willys Tech:
I would just use 90 weight gear oil or heavy duty axle grease. Either is ok.
