Will this also work on the oil pressure side of the speedometer?

I got one of these with the speedometer cluster and am having issues making it stay in. It doesn't seem to snap in the same way the one wire plugs do.

I have item number 913373 insturment cluster. Will Item number A2506 function as the amp meter light when connected to alternator and instrument cluster?
