Questions: How can I tell if I have the "Small Fram Oil Filter Canisters" Instead of the large? Can't find any dimensions and it wasn't a Fram filter in it. I wanna buy the correct decal.

Take a measurement on your filter. The civilian filters were 3.75" in width.

Questions: The oil filter on my 1956 pickup, 226-6 has a ribbed top, unlike the fram one you sell, did the sticker go over the ribs originally? Seems awkward, thanks much

Yes I believe so. I do believe from the factory they just stuck them on there.

They have a sticky side that is just pressed on.

The semi-circle goes on top of the cansister the other on the side.
