Questions: I am going to use an F head in my 1946 CJ2A will this carb work and clear the hood? Or what would you recommend?
Question By: Paul Andriesen on Oct 21 2017 5:38 PM
This is for the 6-226 motor only. If you use that motor in your Willys CJ-2A, you may have to cut a hole in your hood to clear the carb...

Questions: The original air filter for the Carter YF also fits in this carburator ?
Question By: enrique ochando on May 23 2017 7:36 AM
The filter didn't attach direct of the YF 2467. It will accept the original air horn and hose though.

Questions: Being modern carbs, are these less prone to failure secondary to ethanol in the gas? My truck sits a lot and it seems that I'm having to rebuild the carb frequently.
Question By: Bill Massey on Apr 18 2017 11:42 PM
You never want to use fuel with ethanol in it because they absorb moisture. These will run modern fuel though no problem.
