Hi. I have a late frame Cj2a with the later clutch pivot bracket (Item # 645086) other than no cotter pin at the clutch pedal end can you tell me the difference between this cross shaft and the earlier one. Thanks

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
They are different lengths.

The clutch/brake linkage cross bar for my cj3b has a large threaded nut on the longer side - like an end cap with a smaller hole in center of cap. Maybe held a grease fitting?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Not original. Email mike@kaiserwillys.com some pictures so we can see.

I have two brackets on my shaft. Approx 6 inches apart. One connects to the clutch. The other one connects to clutch pedal arm and has return spring on it. Both are welded to the shaft but I can see cotter pins.

Willys Tech:
Sounds like you are talking about your clutch bellcrank.

I've got a 59 CJ5. The clutch pedal and the brake pedal go down through the floor. They both pivot on a shaft at frame. Is there a bushing or sleeve to repair , bad grooves from LACK of LUBE. pilot error I'm sure. It looks to be permanently in place?? Any help would be a good thing. Thanks Dennis

Willys Tech:
There never originally was a bushing or sleeve. This cross shaft will help. We also sell new pedal arms and the tube and bracket that this slides thru too. We can get you fixed up all new.

Willys Tech:
Once you slide off the cross shaft the pedal should come off.
