Will this emergency brake overhaul kit still be the right type for a 1946 CJ-2A if we converted the original brakes to disc brakes using your two conversion kits?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Yes it is still for the emergency brake that is located at the rear of the transfer case.

Can the E Brake shoes be purchased separately?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:

I have a 1961 Wagon with 13" shoes. the E-Brake is in the rear drums, correct? when I removed the drum assy. it looks like someone removed all E-brake, hardware including the lever that the cable is suppose to attach to. Are these, available for the right and left sides? I don't seem to be able to find them anywhere in your book. Will a later model, work?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You measure brake size by the inside to inside machine surface on the brake drum. Email mike@Kaiserwillys.com and we can help you.

Can you tell me what size the crown but is on the rear output shaft that holds the drum on?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
Please email mike@kaiserwillys.com and we can see what measurement your referring to.

Threads are really tough on new adjusting screws should I force them?

Willys Jeep Parts Tech:
You never want to force it. Keep in mind one of the screws is reverse thread and if new - they may have cosmolene on them. Clean that off first.

I need the anchor that bolts to the backing plate. I don't see this piece anywhere? do you have the anchor bracket for sale? what is the part number so I can order, with my new brake shoes. thanks rick
