Is there any reason I can't plug the .070 hole and drill a .040 hole in it's place?

"This is the later jet that was used when Willys determed the larger size port was not delivering adequte lubrication to the timing." Shouldn't it say, ' . . . not delivering adequate oil pressure at idle to the bearings.'? (Smaller hole = less flow)

The engineers at Willys became concerned about the No. 1 main bearing being starved of oil; their solution was to decrease this orifice size to bump the pressure and delivery to that bearing. Some say unnecessary, some say an needed upgrade.

This is the later one. IE smaller hole - more pressure. This is the preferred jet by most people.
