Good Morning. I have a 1954 M38A1 (MD 72953). What is the proper cable routing for the slave cable through the firewall. Also the connection points for the positive and negative. Not in the TMs. Some say to connect directly to the battery terminals but space is very limited. Others say positive to the starter and negative to the battery frame ground> Thanks Bob.

Positive to starter and negative to ground. It come inside the body of jeep thru the floor, thru the firewall and routed out. I should be able to send some photos.
